Health workers capacity building

We are training local birth attendants to improve their knowledge in maternal and reproductive health care.

We do not condemn a traditional birth attendant when we find one, rather, we train and encourage them to include the new knowledge they have gained from us in what they do. Until every pregnant mother in the rural community gains access to a functional healthcare facility with skilled birth attendants, local birth attendants cannot be ignored, cos in their hands most often are the lives of pregnant mothers, and the knowledge they have during delivery determine if the mothers would live.
